We are delighted that so many groups are able to access and use our United Church Sanctuary and Gathering Place. We do not rent the space but gratefully accept donations to allow us to keep operating.
Our Sanctuary has been home to our United Church congregation since 1925 and many memorable Community events have been held in the sanctuary, including baptisms, weddings and memorial services.
The gorgeous dark wood classic sanctuary, with its excellent acoustics is also perfect for art installations, performances and musical events.
As we engage even deeper with our community, we hope to enter into strategic and funding alliances and partnerships, perhaps building social enterprise around food security on the island, or another worthwhile social justice, or environmental cause.
